I LOVE your Cylon shirt. Loved the 1978 series. Hated the 1980 series. Initially resisted the reboot because no cool 1978 Cylon centurions, Raider ships, or duel wheel Base Stars, but soon reconsidered and LOVED the show. The reboot was very good drama, but I still love the costumes, practical effects, and charm of the 1978 original.

The mistakes made was pretty much everything after season two. Particularly the beginning of season three and the horrible finale. Also the attempts to keep shoving in clumsy commentary on contemporary politics. It was _really_ apparent that they were influenced by 9/11 because they let it constantly derail the show. Which is a shame because when it was good, it's was one of the best shows airing. "33" is a still a masterpiece of tension.

A pretty good series with a few annoying issues, the human cylons were over done and the ending was retarded.

I didn't like Starbuck as a woman with Katee Sackhoff or Lee with Jamie Bamber. My least favorite characters. As a 9/11 epicenter survivor, I feel I got more out of this series than most!

the New BSG is a TOP 5 of All Time, the topics, characters, all the twists and turns, I watch the ENTIRE SERIES at least once every few years, DAMN GREAT SHOW! I also do this for Farscape 🙂

I loved the show but it definitely suffered from a lack of planing out the story from the beginning. It’s ironic that they said the Cylons had a plan in the opening of every show but even the writers didn’t know what it was and made it up as they went along. What saved the show for me were the characters, universe building and pretty good sci-fi action for its day.

I was born in 1974, so I was at the PERFECT age when G.I. Joe and Transformers (as well as the rest of the 80s awesomeness) dropped. Between G.I. Joe and Transformers, it's tough to say which I liked better, but when it came down to which one I actually played with more, as opposed to collected, it was G.I. Joe, hands down. Some of my fondest memories were the adventures my brother, our friend and I had with our Joes. And when they broke, as they inevitably did, we'd mix and match their pieces to make new ones. We literally had a giant black lawn and garbage bag half full of Joes, and all the best ones at that. Since we grew up poor, it was only occasionally that we'd have the $3.50 to go buy a new figure, so uh, Gen. Hawk sent us on covert missions to Toys R Us, to liberate our fellow Joes from the evil clutches of Geoffrey the Giraffe. 😉 We saved many, MANY Joes that way, let me tell you!

No other Batman film will be as great. Without Tim's two films helped Batman get away from the cartooney character they were making him into with the Adam West series

Never heard about this cartoon before, found about it in a "Best intros from 80's cartoons" video. After a banger of a intro the theme got stuck in my head and visuals that reminded me a lot of the Phantasy Star games on the Mega Drive/Genesis I proceeded to watch the whole thing. And.. wow! I'm from the 90's but I can confidently say this was the best 80's cartoon I've ever watched. I'm kinda mad they never aired Ulysses 31 in Brazil, cuz I'm sure kids would LOVE it here.

Yep. Never seen any Battlestar Galactica. Remember seeing the shit out of commercials on TV but never watched. Even though I was intrigued by that hot ass blonde Cylone.

This was one of my favorite shows, ever. Right up there with DS9 and Babylon 5.

My only objection to Starbuck was the name being applied to a female pilot. It would be like a male character being called Henneypenny.

I had never heard of this as a kid. Started watching on Frevee and was surprised. It's enjoyable.
